He enlisted in Reading in May 1970 at age 16 Into the infantry in the Parachute Regiment.- 3 Para
Was in the band at one time-drum section I believe other than uk served in Cyprus, Ireland a few times, went to the Falklands also Singapore, Sudan, Germany, Canada and the Sudan, Belize Angola, ascension islands and Yugoslavia.Served 25 years 246 days and attained rank of warrant officer class 2. ORQMS Discharged January 1996
